Industrial Heat, LLC is a Raleigh, North Carolina based company that has invested in various LENR companies, and in January 2014 announced they had purchased the rights to Andrea Rossi's E-Cat technology[1]. Industrial Heat was co-founded by Tom Darden, CEO of Cherokee Investment Partners (also based in Raleigh) along with other unnamed investors. There is little known about Industrial Heat; they do not as yet have a website, and they have made few public announcements initial press release. Industrial Heat is managed by JT Vaughn, who also works at Cherokee. Tom Darden is listed on official documents as the company's chairman.

In April 2015, Tom Darden gave a speech at the 19th 19th International Conference on Condensed Matter Nuclear Science in Padua Italy where he explained why he formed Industrial Heat. He said his overriding goal was to help rid the world of pollution, and that Industrial Heat has invested in other LENR researchers in addition to Andrea Rossi. [2]. He said that going forward Industrial heat wants to collaborate further with LENR researchers, and is hoping to find a way to bring their science to the world in a way that will benefit scientists and the world.

There have been media reports in China about Tom Darden visiting the country to discuss Industrial Heat's work with industry and government officials there. Darden has also reported that he has had 'high level conversations' in China and elsewhere to discuss Industrial Heat's technology.[3]

Andrea Rossi has said he is the chief scientist at Industrial Heat and reports that he is working of a team of physicists, engineers and technicians to develop the E-Cat technology.
